Day 1: Toronto - Albany - Boston
Take the luxury coach from Toronto and start off for the States. Having crossed the border, we will travel to Albany, the capital city of New York State. Once there, we will pay a visit to the 'Heart of the State' - the Empire State Plaza, The Egg, the Legislative Office Building, and the State University of New York (SUNY). After lunch, we will transfer to Boston (nicknamed 'the Cradle of American Culture' and 'the Birthplace of American History'). First we will arrive at the famous Quincy Market during sunset when the nightlife comes alive with full loads of colourful lights. Most stalls in Quincy Market sell trinkets, gifts, and other curiosities. It is also a common venue for various street performers. Visits to Quincy Market will be filled with encounters of a large circular crowd of people standing around a juggler or other unique act. Thereafter, we will visit the most representative Chinatown in the Eastern area
- the Chinatown in downtown Boston and taste lobster, the Boston specialty, at a Chinese cuisine dinner. Accommodation at a grand hotel.
Day 2: Boston - Harvard University - Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Whale Watching - Witch Town
A full array of fun and exciting programs start right after breakfast: firstly, we will take a ride to the pier for Whale Watching and cruising on the Atlantic Ocean. With over 24 years of experience, the captain of the cruise will guide you to watch the whales with the aid of a sophisticated radar tracker. You may come across the Minke Whale, Blue Whale or Killer Whale, 40
- 50 feet long and weigh 25 tons, when they flap their tails over the water surface. You may also catch sight of dozens of dolphins racing alongside. After the cruise, we will go back to Boston,
'the Cradle of Freedom' and re-visit the Quincy Market. There, we will visit the Faneuil Hall (the site where several important speeches were made for encouraging independence from Great Britain), the Statue of Samuel Adams (architect of the American Revolution), the Old State House (where the Declaration of Independence was proclaimed and the Boston Massacre of 1770 took place in front of the balcony). Then, we will move to the Massachusetts City Hall, the Massachusetts State House (New State House), Beacon Hill (a wealthy neighborhood with some of the highest property values in the United States), the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard University, and the bustling Harvard Square. Thereafter, we will go to the Salem village, so called the
'Witch Town'. This historic area is now a tourist attraction with everything in town related to witches. In the town you can see the witch image everywhere, interwoven with history and commercial--from Witch Museum, Witch Wax Museum, Religious Court¡ to Witch Opera and witch souvenirs. Accommodation at a grand hotel.
Day 3: Boston - Outlet Mall - Toronto
Pack after breakfast, we are returning to Toronto via the Finger Lake Factory Outlet Mall in the Upstate. You can enjoy a lunch and a shopping spree at the outlet mall to hunt for your
favorites such as Timberland and Polo at affordable super-low prices. Plus, you can also purchase tobacco and liquor, gift premiums and perfume at the Duty Free Store near the border. We will reach Toronto around evening to complete the pleasant trip.
