Day 1 : Hometown - Hanoi (Vietnam)
Our vacation begins as our international flights takes us to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam.
Day 2 : Hanoi (L/D)
Upon arrival, we are met by our tour guide at the airport for a quick transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. The city tour begins with Hoan Kiem Lake where is located directly in the center of Hanoi and is known for one of the major scenic place in the city. According to the legend, Emperor Le Loi received a magic sword from a Turtle God that led him to victory against the foreign invaders of the Ming Dynasty. The lake was named after the episode of when the Emperor Le Loi returned the magic sword to the Turtle God on the lake. The Ngoc Son Temple was later built on an island at the North end to the Hoan Kiem Lake to worship the Turtle God and other national military leaders and heroes. For evening, we attend a performance of the Hanoi¡¯s famous Water Puppet Show. The Water Puppet Show is a unique art because the puppetry is performed in a pool of water with the water surface being the stage while the skilled puppeteers control the puppets beneath the water surface. Day 3 : Hanoi - Halong Bay (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum that was built in the year of 1975. This was the place where Ho Chi Minh¡¯s embalmed body was put on display in a granite mausoleum. We then visit the Reunification Palace, the former presidential palace of South Vietnam, is most notable for its symbolic role in the fall of Saigon in April 1975. Proceed to the One Pillar Pagoda. Emperor Ly Thai Tong constructed this scenic spot in gratitude to the Goddess of Mercy for a long awaited birth of an heir. We next go to the Temple of Literature, also known as Vietnam¡¯s first university in 1076, which a precious collection of ancient manuscripts is shown. Before leaving for Halong Bay, we will visit the traditional Handicrafts Centre followed by dinner.

Day 4 : Halong Bay - Hai Phong City(B/L/D)
Continue our tour as we embark on a boat for an exploration of the wondrous Halong Bay. Listed as the World Heritage Site, Halong Bay is dotted with 3000 limestone islets rising from emerald waters. Discover the fantastic rock formations in the famous Thiencone Cave. After a seafood lunch on board we return to Hai Phong City where is situated on the coast of the South China Sea and Pacific Ocean. Enjoy an opportunity to experience the excitement of Do Son Casino, the only licensed casino in Vietnam that provides a quality and safe environment to people who enjoy gambling.

Day 5 : Day 5. Hai Phong City - Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
After a hearty breakfast we will set off to the 36th street of the Old Quarter that is full of shops and vendors selling Vietnamese merchandise. The Quan Thanh Temple is a place dedicated to worship Saint Tran Vu Quan as a legendary figure in both Vietnam and China legend. Visit the St. Josephs Cathedral, which was built in the year of 1886 to model after the Notre Dame Cathedral in PARIS, followed by the Hanoi Opera House. A short flight takes us to Ho Chi Minh City. Then transfer to hotel.

Day 6 : Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
Heading out of town we visit the Cu Chi tunnels located approximately 65 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City centre. It is an elaborate underground community consisting of 350 km tunnels and chambers dug with simple tools and bare hands. Visitors can experience walking into the Cu Chi Tunnels but it is strongly recommended to bring a flashlight. After lunch we visit the Unification Palace where the former presidents lived and worked. The War Remnant Museum displays various exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War. We next roll over to Vung Tau to visit the Jesus Monument. A 300-steps stairway takes us to the base of the giant Jesus statue where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 7 : Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we visit the Vung Tau City followed by the Lang Ca Ong Temple or the Whale Temple. Dedicated to the ¡®whale cult¡¯, the temple features a collection of whale skeletons and photographs of rituals and ceremonies taken during the worship. Before lunch at Chinatown, we make a stop the lively fruit market. Our afternoon sightseeing includes the Thien Hau Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Day 8 : Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)
Complete our Ho Chi Minh City tour with a visit to My Tho, a prosperous town famous for its extensive orchard. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride along the Mekong River and explore a floating pagoda and market as we weave our way through the intricate network of canals. Taste the delicious ¡°Elephant ear fish¡± for lunch. We then visit the tropical fruit orchards where we can sample and buy all sorts of exotic fruits. Return to Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy a fun shopping experience at the Diamond Plaza which is Saigon's premier department store. Some of the best sandal wood incense is available for sale there.

Day 9 : Ho Chi Minh City - Hong Kong (B)
